Dear Members, 
 
You are invited to hear Phymean Noun, a Canadian activist for Cambodian children and founder of the People Improvement Organization speak at our regular meeting on Sept 5th.
 
 
In 2005, Phymean Noun was named a CNN Hero by CNN for her gallant contribution in helping to feed, house & provide schooling to the poor needy children of the trash dump in Phnom Penh. She has been commended by the World’s Children’s Prize 2015 and named Child Rights Hero of the year for her thirteen-year struggle for the children who scavenge garbage dumps in Cambodia, and their right to education.
 
This is a dinner meeting so RSVP is required by August 29th and $25/person to be paid at the door, cash or cheque.
