This evening, we welcomed Mr. Dave Hardy, Assistant District Governor for District 7070.
Mr. Hardy is a proud Rotarian and long-time Scarborough resident. He shared with the club his personal story of growing up in Scarborough and meeting a friend who would later invite him to help build better communities through Rotary. Mr. Hardy studied to become an urban planner, first working for a municipality, then forming his own consulting firm on urban and environmental planning (see: Hardy Stevenson and Associates Ltd.)

He would later merge both interests through participation in the Scarborough Community Renewal Organization, an association of five Scarborough Rotary Clubs including Mr. Hardy's home club, Scarborough North.

We were pleased to hear about his life experiences and professional background in urban renewal. Thank you to Dave Hardy for joining our club this evening.
