This evening we were pleased to welcome back our 2017 RYLA candidate, Ms. Silken Chan, to speak about her recent experience at the leadership retreat.
Ms. Chan is a new university graduate in International Relations, looking to pursue her passion for social work. She described the week-long retreat, including a bumpy start to the trip, and the program activities that taught candidates Rotarian values. Perhaps more importantly, Ms. Chan was able to expand her network, making important relationships with other young leaders looking to contribute their hard work and talents.
We congratulate Ms. Silken Chan on receiving support from the Rotary Club of York and being a great representative of young leaders.
